This week’s recipe is all about using what’s already in your fridge! If you have items that need to be used.

No need to buy lots of ingredients – we’re making a simple dough using self-raising flour and water, then adding whatever tasty extras you have on hand.

EQUIPMENT
β€’ Mixing bowl
β€’ Spoon or spatula
β€’ Knife
β€’ Chopping board
β€’ Baking tray or deep oven-safe frying pan/skillet
β€’ Grater (if grating your own cheese)

πŸ’š No stress if you don’t have everything. Swap ingredients, leave things out and get creative with what you’ve got!

Have your ingredients and equipment ready before we go live at 5:30pm Wednesday on Instagram.

This afternoon we had our first class in a 5-week program, working with outreach youth to build confidence in the kitchen, create connections and build relationships through food. And they absolutely kicked goals πŸ’š
Today was all about simple soul food β€” spag bol and golden syrup dumplings β€” and they were a hit. More importantly, seeing how proud they were of themselves was pretty special… and I was super proud of them too.
