We’re looking for exceptional hospitality professionals to join the team at Basalt.

Set in a breathtaking coastal location overlooking the Bass Strait, Basalt offers more than just a place to work — it’s a beautiful setting to build your career, surrounded by an incredible team, considered food and memorable guest experiences.

As we continue to grow, we’re seeking two key additions who share our passion for exceptional hospitality, beautiful food and attention to detail.

RESTAURANT MANAGER

We’re looking for an experienced, confident and passionate Restaurant Manager to lead our venue with warmth, precision and a genuine commitment to excellence.

You’ll bring:
• Proven experience managing a quality restaurant or hospitality venue
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to develop a high-performing team
• A sophisticated understanding of service, operations and guest experience
• Exceptional communication and organisational skills
• The ability to lead calmly and confidently through busy service
• A genuine passion for hospitality and consistently high standards

FLOOR SUPERVISOR

We’re also looking for a polished and personable Floor Supervisor to help lead service and create an exceptional experience for every guest.

You’ll be someone who:
• Takes genuine pride in thoughtful, attentive service
• Has previous hospitality and supervisory experience
• Leads by example with calm, positive energy
• Has previous supervisory experience and a strong understanding of service
• Has an exceptional eye for detail
• Communicates confidently with guests and the team
• Understands that the smallest details can make the biggest difference
