Modo Mio Naked Dedicated 100% gluten free commercial kitchen in Quoiba, Tasmania, hand made to order.

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT US

100% gluten free kitchen based in NW Tasmania, owned and operated by Susanne, who is also the recipe creator and baker. Our highly coveted MODO MIO Naked Brownie recipes include Anvers couverture chocolate, local free range eggs, Duck River butter and organic quinoa from Kindred Organics. All our brownies are hand made to order and we send Australia wide via Australia Post Express which means you get your chocolate fix the day after we post it – you can’t get quicker than that, unless of course you are local to us then you are welcome to come to the kitchen to pick them up! If you are Metro Tasmania we can send via courier which is actually cheaper than Aus Post (go figure)

We also make hand made bread mixes so you can bake at home and enjoy hot bread straight from the oven! You will also find us popping up at various farmers markets around Tasmania and can find updates of where we will be on our Face Book Page

Tomorrow we will be at Harvest Launceston with these amazing pastries, I didn’t measure the Larks
Copper Pot, so of course I had to taste test it! It.is.delicious!

I made lemon curd pastries too!

Restocked the bread mixes also as they have been flying out the door, if you’re after actual bread get in early as they tend to disappear quite quickly.

New product alert! Hand made Bara Brith, which literally means ‘speckled bread’ from Wales. It is more cake like than bread like and is amazing sliced with a little smeared butter on top, and a mug of tea on the side. Sunday afternoon sorted!

I have to say, I am pretty much over this rain, reminds me of the winters in Wales, dark gloomy and a tad wet.

However! Tomorrow is looking to be dry in relation to anything falling out of the sky, sun even… so, we will be at Harvest Launceston in the morning, rug up, get in early if you’re wanting bread.

We will be bringing

Besan Brownies
Ginormous chocolate chip cookies and sneaky gingers
Welshcakes, orange & cranberry or lemon & sultana
Sour cream pastry:
Spiced apple pies
Apple & Calvados pies
Feta, spinach, mint & lemon
Caprilu - lemon & almond
Bread: seeded chickpea & h**p or seeded buckwheat & h**p available baked (loaves approx 1.1kg) or take a breaf mix home & have some fun in the kitchen.

Also, for future reference, if you want to ‘book a loaf’ please let me know by Thursday at the latest so I can bake for you.
