To All of Our Valued Customers and Friends

Just wishing to advise you all that our annual 3 week winter break is just around the corner.

We will be closed from -
4.30pm Friday 26th June
Reopen -
8am Monday 20th July

This gives our amazing staff and ourselves a chance to enjoy a well earnt break and some down time for rest and relaxation.

Look forward to seeing you all in the next few weeks before we break for holidays 🍦🍰☕️

CHANGE TO WINTER BUSINESS HOURS -

After nearly 3 years of trading 7 days a week we have made the decision that we will be closing on Saturday mornings during the next few winter months.

As most people are aware we are a small family operated business (Mum, Dad and 2 teenage kids) and not only open our shop front 7 days per week but we also run the dairy farm 7 days a week - making us rather busy without much time for "life away from work" 😬

As the weather cools off and town slows considerably for the next few months we have decided to close on a Saturday morning.
Most of our employees at the shop play winter sports on a Saturday too so this frees up their time to participate in sport and community activities too 🏉🏐

For me personally I will miss seeing you guys on a Saturday morning over the next few months but I am rather excited for a morning of housework (not having to fold my washing at 10pm will be amazing) and having breakfast with my kids one morning a week will be bliss 🥰🥓🥚

Open every other day as usual

Monday - Friday
8am til 4.30pm

Sunday
9am til 4pm

Look forward to seeing you all soon and we will be back 7 days a week when the weather warms up again ☕️🐄

Saturday 25th (ANZAC DAY) - CLOSED
Sunday 26th - 9am to 4pm
Monday 27th (Public Hol) - 9am to 2pm

We will be closed Saturday as a mark of respect to all of our service men and women.

We wish Jed all the very best as he packs his bags and flies across the world to start another season of cricket in the UK ✈️🌏🏏

Here at DDC we are so incredibly proud of all of the young adults that we have working with us.

These young chaps that form part of our DDC family recently attended their Senior School Ball.

We wish to advise all of our customers that we will now have a 1.2% surcharge on all eftpos transactions effective as of today. As much as we hate to do this we have been absorbing the cost of these bank fees for nearly 3 years and unfortunately we can no longer do this.

Doing this also helps us to keep our prices for all of our products as low as we can. We have not had one price increase across the store since we opened our doors in 2023 although the cost of living, production and farm goods have sky rocketed. We absorb the costs of these increases as well - we think it's important that everyone can go out and enjoy themselves at a reasonable price.

CASH payments incur no surcharge - cash is king!!

Just letting all of our lovely customers know that we will be closed this coming long weekend.

Saturday 28/2 - CLOSED
Sunday 1/3 - CLOSED
Monday 2/3 - CLOSED

Unfortunately we have family and farm commitments which means we will be unable to open. Family comes first and I need to be a Mum this weekend 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Hope everyone has a great weekend and we will see you all from 8am Tuesday 3/3 when we reopen.
