How fortunate I feel to be leaving with a touch of sadness. I'll not only miss the yummy veggies, but all of your smiling faces too!

Thank you for allowing me to fill your kitchens with the gathered goodness of the Great Southern. Eating local has become so much more than eating good food. It's a beautiful connection to the rhythms of nature.

Hello foodie fam 💛

Winter has definitely arrived, but yay for the days getting longer! ☀️ I had the best shortest day of the year. It seemed to go on forever. Funny how time slows down when we fill our days with new experiences and a little awe and wonder.

A little life update... after much contemplation, I've decided to head off to a family reunion ✈️💛

We have just TWO more box weeks before Denmark Homegrown takes a winter hibernation. At this stage, I expect to be back in September, refreshed and ready for a spring season full of veggie goodness 🌱

Unfortunately, I haven't found anyone to take over while I'm away, so we'll be pausing for winter.

The recent rain has also caused flooding on one of our farms, a reminder that life keeps us humble and that sometimes the best thing we can do is trust, adapt, and go with the flow.

A fun garden moment… my cheeky chicken Popcorn keeps sneaking into the garlic patch, but quickly escapes again when I turn her way! Fingers crossed she doesn't scratch up all my garlic goodness.
