Welcome to our café in the Wombat Hill Botanic Gardens, Daylesford. We offer breakfast, brunch and lunch daily. Simple, delicious seasonal food sourced locally wherever possible. Each dish served at Wombat Hill House is inspired by the seasonal harvest from our Dairy Flat Farm Daylesford.

Our menu follows the rhythm of the farm, from freshly harvested produce to slow-fermented sourdough from the bake house, every ingredient has a purpose and every dish tells a story.

It's a connection we're very proud of.

It begins with slow fermentation and traditional methods that create the perfect crumb and crust, a process that can't be rushed and is perfected daily by the talented bakers at our Dairy Flat Farm Daylesford bake house.

Freshly baked each morning, it's the foundation of so much of what we serve at Wombat Hill House. From your morning toast and brunch favourites to our toasties and sandwiches, every slice carries the care and craftsmanship that starts long before sunrise.

Want to enjoy it at home? Our country loaves, seeded loaves and baguettes are available to take home, and regulars know it's always worth pre-ordering to avoid missing out.

Each morning, fresh pastries arrive from our Dairy Flat Farm Daylesford bake house, filled with seasonal fruit, layered with buttery pastry, and ready for our cafe.

Some come for the coffee.
Some come for brunch.
