Ordering a table for one.
Sitting with your coffee without reaching for your phone.
Going somewhere simply because you want to go.

Somewhere along the way, we started treating being alone like something that needed explaining.

It doesn’t.

Eat the meal. Order dessert. Take the good seat. Stay as long as you like.

A table for one isn’t an empty table. 🤍

LAKSA, BUT MAKE IT MOORISH 🌶️

Laksa Festival has landed at Moorish, and of course we’ve done things a little differently.

On the menu this October — our sous vide calamari with laksa flavours and a delicate dill crisp, a Laksa Cheesecake that you absolutely need to try before you question it, and a Laksa Cocktail to finish the experience.

Three very different ways to get your laksa fix. Very Moorish. Very October.

Come in, try them for yourself and don’t forget to cast your vote in the Laksa League.

Moorish has always been known for seriously good desserts, and this one continues the tradition.

Spiced brown sugar meringue with balsamic macerated berries & crème fraîche.

22 years of Yani. ❤️

For more than two decades, Yani has been part of the heart and soul of Moorish — a familiar face behind the scenes and a much-loved member of the Moorish family.

After an incredible 22 years with us, Yani has decided it’s time to retire and enjoy a very well-earned break.

A couple of weeks ago, we gathered the Moorish family together to celebrate him properly — sharing plenty of stories, laughs and memories from all those years.

Twenty-two years is a remarkable contribution to one workplace, and it’s hard to imagine Moorish without him.

Thank you, Yani, for everything you’ve given to Moorish over the years. You will be greatly missed, but you’ll always be part of the family. ❤️

Here’s to retirement and whatever comes next. 🥂
