A b**r so tasty, you won't believe your mouth. At just 2.7% ABV, LPA is light on alcohol and big on flavour.

To celebrate, we’re bringing a whole lot of LPA goodness to the Tappy with LPA month shenanigans, running until 30th September.

Every day: Special LPA takeaway deals. Ask our crew at the bar.

Every Thursday: Play Bag the Balter and every card wins an LPA prize.

Every Sunday at 3.30-4pm: We'll be holding LPA tastings.

Brewery Experience Host:
Got a big personality? Only child energy and love a yarn, a laugh and showing people a ripper of a good time? We’re looking for engaging people to host tours through the Balter brewery, bringing our story, our b**rs and the brewery experience to life. You don’t need to be a b**r expert - we can teach you that. Personality is the important bit.

Front of House/Bar Staff:
We’re looking for hospo legends who thrive in a busy venue, love great service and big events. If you’re obsessed with picking up glassware, into keeping the venue humming, chatting with locals and visitors, and getting stuck in with a great crew, we want you on board.

Queensland’s largest outdoor sculpture exhibition is back on Currumbin Beach from 11–20 September. You’ll find Balter being served at SWELL, while Nick Warfield’s official SWELL sculptures, ‘Balter Birds’, have flown into the Balter Tappy 🦜

So come down, check out some seriously impressive sculptures, and enjoy a cold b**r with the best food trucks at your fingertips 🍻

For the appetite, we've got a Latin Catering AU open-fire grilling an Argentinian Asado BBQ 🍖 Plus, there's a good chance you won't go home empty handed as we'll have plenty of raffle prizes and a surprise (or two) up for grabs. Throw in some live music and sports on the big screen and you'll be laughing.

A bit different from our usual Friday night meat tray raffles… AirTouch Above the Rim 2026 will be holding their Streetball Take Over in the Balter Tappy!

Dime Street Basketball makes street basketball a live entertainment event, bringing together the best pickup players in the country to compete and put on a show. How is this possible in the tappy..? Our b**r garden is getting converted into a half court with courtside grandstand as if you’re in a basketball arena. The Currumbin Madison Square B**r Garden.

NBA star Josh Giddey from the Chicago Bulls will be doing a takeover and Q&A. There’ll be a live DJ, Hip Hop dancers, haircuts, made-to-order merch and lots more.
