LONG WEEKEND UPDATE!
We’ve made the decision to close the café for the upcoming long weekend due to a combination of staff shortages and prior commitments that mean we will also be away.

We’re very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, but now with limited staff available, we don’t feel it would be fair or responsible to put our remaining team members under unreasonable pressure just to keep the café open.

We’re very big on looking after the people in our lives and believe that staff wellbeing and customer experience go hand in hand. Providing you, our customers, with the food, service and experience you deserve is incredibly important to us. We’d rather make the responsible decision to close than stretch our team too thin and risk compromising either their wellbeing or the experience you as our customers will have here.

We really appreciate everyone’s understanding and support.

We hope everyone has a wonderful and safe long weekend, and we’ll see you when we return on Tuesday. ☕️❤️

Hi everyone!

We wanted to introduce ourselves and say how excited we are to be taking over the café and beginning this new chapter!

We’ve already had the pleasure of meeting a few people from the community who have stopped by to wish us well, and we’re incredibly grateful for the kind words and warm welcome. We’ve personally been coming here for over 40 years, so it means a lot to us to now take on this new role. We’re looking forward to getting to know more of you and becoming an even bigger part of the community.

We have some exciting plans and ideas for the café, but these things will take time. Over the coming months, we’ll just be learning the ropes, settling in and making some necessary adjustments as we work towards making the café the best it can be over the next few years.

We just ask for a little patience and understanding while we find our feet. We’re committed to putting our time, energy and heart into the café and we want you to know we will be doing our very best to ensure it’s in good hands. ❤️

One little heads up: we’ll personally be away for just over a week due to prior commitments made before taking over the café. The café will remain open, so please continue to pop in and support the team while we’re away!

We’re looking forward to returning and slowly getting to know more of you.

We’ve got some news! The cafe has been sold, and the new owners will be taking over on September 18.
I’ll be around for a week to help them get settled and get the hang of things. For those of you who haven’t had a chance to chat in person yet, who have been such loyal customers for the past 10 and a half years, I’d love for you to pop in and treat yourself to a free coffee or lunch on me.

In the future, I’ll probably see you around the beach or just enjoying life as a mum with four kids.

I can’t thank you all enough for your support over the last 10 and a half years. My family and I are so grateful.
The cafe was once my little baby before I had children, and as my family has grown, it’s time for new people to bring their passion and energy to it. So, please come in from September 18 to meet the new owners and hopefully, you can build a relationship that’s as good as the one I’ve had with you all ❤️

Side note: all of my AMAZING staff are staying on- so for the first baby steps there won’t be too much changing at cuddy, until the new owners find their feet and put their own trademark on it.
