To my Platter Pantry family, this Sunday will be my last day as I have sold the business!

I was just a young gal who started this journey with a bestie 8 years ago. It was just a side hustle at the start. When covid hit I took the reins not knowing what the future held but it didn’t stop me. I made an online store and overnight the home delivered date night box orders went crazy!! Some weeks id make 500 boxes!! My dreams had come true and because of you all I was able to live it and build it piece by piece.

To all the wonderful and supportive people who have ordered and come through that door, thank you for everything. You got us through so many seasons and a lot of you I can honestly call friends. I will miss our daily chats and laughs.

To my beautiful staff past and present… I cannot find the words. You’ve helped shape the cafe to what it is today, a truly loved local gem with recipes and systems we still use today! A special mention to my Jimmy boy who has stayed strong the entire time from the very beginning, you’ve helped me so much through it all with your knowledge and kindness, I will never forget it.
And my current team, you’re absolutely gorgeous, I’ll miss you so much!!

To my family and friends… the support, the help and love has been extraordinary and I couldn’t have done it without you. Especially mum, dad and my husband who helped me more than anyone 🩷

This time is truly bittersweet but I know in my heart this chapter of my life is ready to close and open for the new owners Darren and Emily. Please make them feel extra welcome, they are talented and passionate, they love the PP and want to keep it going, platters and all, I feel absolutely blessed they’ve come along!

What will I do next? I’m going to spend time with my baby girl and get back the time I’ve missed with her.. I am unsure what’s next and will work it out someday!
