Fisch on Broadway will be closed for New Year’s Day to mourn the sad passing of the West Coast commercial fishing zone. However, we will be open again for Friday from 4pm till 8pm to celebrate by serving our great West Australian iconic Dhufish fresh for the last time. Fresh, Local and Sustainable!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For the last thirty years both at the Fishack in Scarborough and now at Fisch on Broadway in Crawley we have supported the local fishing industry and our customers by sourcing local, fresh and sustainably caught West Australian fish. We have seen all the cutbacks in commercial quotas over many years from the days when just about every Cray fishing boat had an open west coast licence to the commercial closure of the fishery between the Bouvarde Reefs south of Mandurah to Lancelin over 20 years ago we have maintained our ethos of Fresh, Local and Sustainable and will continue to do so. There is obviously going to be change especially because of the ridiculous West Coast Closure and our thoughts go out to all those Fishing families that have put there Heart and sole into their Businesses only to be destroyed by this the “Permanent” closure of a world class fishery. This decision by the ex union hacks that run this state will now put massive pressure on the stocks of fish that haven’t been effected by these closures. That’s what I call very clever “Science “ Might have been an idea to spend a little bit of time with the people who live and breath the fishing industry instead of the 9 to 3rds. We look forward to serving all of our customers with best local fresh seafood possible and for this weekend we will have Dhufish and Goldband Snapper available.
