Important Market Update 💔
It is with a very heavy heart that we have to announce that this Sunday’s market has been cancelled.
Unfortunately, due to the recent weather, Council has deemed the grounds unsafe to use and has cancelled our permit for this weekend.
Over the past 24 hours, we have worked tirelessly to try and save the market. We’ve contacted multiple venues, businesses and community organisations, explored every backup option available, and did everything we possibly could to find a suitable alternative.
Sadly, no replacement venue was large enough to safely accommodate all of our booked stall holders and visitors at such short notice.
We know how disappointing this is for our amazing stall holders, entertainers, food vendors and everyone who was planning to attend. Please know this decision was completely outside of our control.
Although the market won’t be going ahead this weekend, our incredible small businesses still need your support. Over the next couple of days, we’ll be sharing our stall holders’ posts, special offers, baked treats and products to our stories. If you were planning on coming to the market, we’d love for you to keep an eye on our stories and support these amazing local businesses where you can. Every purchase makes a difference.
