What a HUGE week it has been!

Once again, the herd would like to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone who has supported us, popped in, shared a laugh and shown us so much patience and kindness during our first week. 🤎

After one very big week, our herd needs just a couple of extra hours in the paddock tomorrow morning! 😴🐄

We are FULLY BOOKED for dinner again tonight, and we honestly can’t thank everyone enough for the incredible support.

❤️ A LITTLE MESSAGE FROM THE FOUR OF US… ❤️

We’ve been trying to find the words to say this, because honestly, we’re still a little blown away.

When the four of us decided to take on the Cowwarr Hotel, we had a dream. We believed in this beautiful old pub, we believed in Cowwarr, and we believed we could bring something special back to our little community.

But we genuinely never expected this.

The support since opening our doors has been absolutely overwhelming. The number of people who have come through, the bookings, the coffees, the meals, the beers, the takeaways, the messages, the shares, the kind words and the familiar faces returning again and again…

You have absolutely blown us away. 🥹❤️

And we know we haven’t got everything perfect.

We’ve had new staff learning, new systems to navigate, extremely busy periods and moments where we’ve probably looked at each other and thought, “Holy hell… where did all these people come from?!” 😂

So to everyone who has waited a little longer than expected, been patient while we’ve worked things out, had a laugh with our staff and shown us understanding and kindness — thank you.

Please know that behind the scenes we are listening, learning, tweaking and improving every single day.

This place means so much more to us than simply opening a pub.

It was about bringing some life back into a beautiful old building, creating somewhere our locals could call their pub again, supporting our community and giving people another reason to stop in our little town.

We dreamed it.

Our families, friends, tradies and community helped us build it.

And all of you are now bringing it to life. ❤️

To our staff — thank you for jumping into the deep end with us and giving it everything you’ve got. We couldn’t do this without you.

And to every single person who has supported us in any way…

From Alison, Brett, Belinda & Matt — thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

We will never take your support for granted.

There’s still plenty more to come, plenty more to learn and probably a few more crazy days ahead… but we wouldn’t have it any other way.
