Behind the scenes in our packing room!

Our packing room team is hard at work today preparing Mini Roast Beef with Gravy, complete with a colourful selection of vegetables.

Every day, our team plates and packages around 1,000 meals for people throughout our community.

It’s not just about filling the tray, either. Each component is carefully weighed throughout the packing process to ensure our meals are consistent, balanced and portioned correctly.

A lot of care goes into every tray before it makes its way out our doors. 💙

This Women's Health Week, the theme 'Do It Anyway' encourages women to take small, practical steps towards better health. Today's focus is Fuel, highlighting the importance of eating well to support energy, strength and wellbeing.

As women age, nutrition needs change too, with a greater focus on protein, calcium and vitamin D to help maintain muscle strength and bone health.

For many, Meals on Wheels provides nutritious meals that take the stress out of shopping, cooking and meal planning, making it easier to eat well every day.
