Just off the main street you will find The Breakout Brasserie Café nestled amongst a small clutch of boutiques on Macquarie street. Using Academy Coffee roasted in our near by town of Orange. Relax inside our air conditioning or outside under our beautiful grapevine covered courtyard. Enjoy our gourmet breakfast, lunches using locally grown produce or our fabulous variety of house made slices and cakes including gluten free.

We’re taking a little well-deserved break! 🥰

Our cafe will be closed Saturday 3rd – Monday 5th October so our team can enjoy a few days of rest and recharge.

We’ll be back bright and early Tuesday morning, ready to pour the coffees, serve up your favourites and see all your lovely faces again! ☕️💛

EVERY CUP WALKS WITH DUSTY TODAY 💛

For every coffee, tea, chai and hot chocolate sold at The Breakout Brasserie today, we’ll donate $1 directly to Dusty’s official fundraiser for Little Wings.

At just 12 years old, Dusty is walking from Warren to Parliament House in Canberra to advocate for country children and raise $1 million for Little Wings - helping bring paediatric care closer to children and families living in regional communities.

One cup means one dollar. But with a whole community behind it, an ordinary Monday cuppa can become something much bigger.

Dusty has set off from Gooloogong and is now expected to arrive in Cowra around 4:30-5pm today.

Imagine reaching Cowra after another enormous day on the road and being met by a community that believes in everything you’re walking for. If you can be there this afternoon, let’s give Dusty that welcome!!

Keep an eye on the official Dollar For Dusty page throughout the afternoon for the latest updates as he gets closer to town.

For anyone only just discovering his story, Dusty is 12 years old and walking hundreds of kilometres from Warren to Parliament House in Canberra to advocate for country children. He is also aiming to raise $1 million for Little Wings, helping bring paediatric care closer to children and families living in regional communities!

Cowra, this weekend we have a very special opportunity to get behind Dusty and the extraordinary mission he is carrying from Warren to Canberra.

Dusty is twelve years old and walking hundreds of kilometres from Warren to Parliament House in Canberra to meet with the Prime Minister and advocate for country children. Along the way, he is aiming to raise $1 million for Little Wings - helping bring paediatric care closer to children living in regional communities.

Dusty and his team will arrive in Cowra on Sunday, and we’re genuinely thrilled and honoured that they’ll be stopping in at The Breakout Brasserie on Monday morning.

We want Dusty to leave Cowra knowing that our community sees what he is doing, believes in his mission and is walking beside him.

So, we’re filling a box with Messages from Cowra for Dusty to take with him.

Our message station is ready at the cafe. Please pop in today or tomorrow, take a card and leave him a few words of encouragement.

If you can’t make it in, leave your message in the comments or send it to us privately and we’ll write it onto a card for you.

We’ll give the completed collection to Dusty on Monday - words from one country community to an extraordinary country kid.

After a very long quiet season on socials… this feels like a pretty special reason to return 🤍

We’ve officially been named as a Top 50 finalist in a national Bacon & Egg Roll competition, based on our sales through the Hey You app.

For our little country café, that honestly means a lot.

For over 30 years, The Breakout Brasserie has been a place people return to for good coffee, great food, conversation and moments of connection.

But this recognition also belongs to so many people behind the scenes too.
