Fueling the Coota Park Blue-E Sale with coffee and good vibes ☕️☀️🐮
A huge credit to their team for hosting such a magnificent event! Super grateful Elite Espresso could be part of another superb sale!

Well that’s our bull sale done and dusted for 2025!

Firstly we want to say a huge thank you to all of our supporters, whether they be clients who purchase bulls, underbidders, people who generally support our vision, our friends and family who help make it all possible, and our amazing team at Coota Park – you’re all the reason why we’re still here, doing our best to breed the right cattle for the future of our industry.

It’s been a tough season for a lot of us, and we’ve all felt the load. It makes it even more rewarding to look back at our sale and call it a success. We offered 50 bulls and sold 46, for a 92% clearance and an average price of $8,119. Our top priced lot was the outstanding U118, who we used as a sire within our herd, purchased for $15,500 by Corio Ag who are valued repeat clients from the Cootamundra area (pictured below). Second top price was the outstanding blue bull U220, who sold for $13,500 to MW & JK O’Neill at Hermidale. Fantastic to see a coloured bull up there in the stats!

We had a large percentage of repeat clients, which we are very proud of. We put a lot of work into breeding bulls who will perform under commercial conditions, breed excellent calves and last for a long time – clients don’t return if you don’t deliver! We are incredibly grateful for all our repeat clients who trust us to deliver genetics that work for their businesses.

Thank you to the teams at Delta Livestock, Stock Direct and Achmea Farm Insurance for your hard work on the day, it ran very smoothly. The ladies from the Woodstock Progress Association cooked us a fabulous lunch as usual, and Lillee from Elite Espresso kept us all caffeinated with her excellent coffee.

Your support renews our drive to continue producing the best cattle that we can that will meet the needs of our industry going forward, even if they don’t fit the popular mould – we’re in this for the long game!
