We’re looking for an experienced Full-Time Cook / Chef to join the team at Penny Lane Island Cafe in Cowes.

We’re looking for someone who:
• Has experience in a café or restaurant kitchen
• Is reliable, organised and works well in a busy environment
• Is available to work weekends & public holidays
• Can work flexible morning and/or evening shifts

We offer stable full-time hours, a supportive team and a friendly working environment.

🇦🇺 A special day for Cowes today!

Today we’re proud to welcome the HMAS Cape Woolamai Freedom of Entry Parade — a special military tradition and one of the highest civic honours a community can bestow on a Navy ship.

📍 The parade begins from Cowes Jetty at 11:00am and travels along Thompson Avenue, featuring the Royal Australian Navy Band and a ceremonial march.

If you’re in town this morning, come along and be part of this proud community event.

A little August update 💙

It’s hard to believe it’s already been three months since we took over Penny Lane.

❤️ Thank you for all the wonderful support you’ve shown us during this time. Every visit, every coffee and every kind word has meant so much to us, and we’re truly grateful to be part of this amazing community.

❄️ Throughout August, we’ll be taking a little Thursday winter break, so the café will be closed every Thursday.

☕ We’re open as usual on all other days, 8:00am–5:00pm.
