Hey Guys!
We’re Ross and Kiandra Buchanan, a husband-and-wife team who have called Margaret River home for almost 5 years. We operate Record Coffee Roasters, your local boutique specialty coffee roastery and we’re excited to be sharing our passion with our community.
Our journey started in the Dandenong Ranges in Melbourne, where we launched Hills Coffee Co. sharing specialty coffees locally. When we moved to the glorious South West we took a little break, and after taking some time to reset, and dreaming of what’s next, we’re back with a new name, new home and fresh energy.
📀 Record Coffee Roasting was born from our love of specialty coffee, music, and connection. Just like a vinyl has two sides, so does our menu:
Side A: approachable classics and crowd pleasing flavour profiles.
Side B: adventurous, experimental and distinct coffees.
We roast only high-grade arabica coffee, sourced from socially and environmentally responsible farms and importers. For us, coffee is like wine - full of diversity, distinct regional and varietal profiles, and worth exploring with care and transparency.

In July we opened our Roastery + Tasting Room. Come taste what’s roasting, take home a can of beans, or enjoy a takeaway while we put a record on.
