At Club Corowa, supporting our local community is at the heart of everything we do, and that’s exactly what ClubGRANTS is all about.

We are delighted to present a $15,000 ClubGRANT to the NSW Rural Fire Service to help enhance on-the-ground communications for this vital local emergency service. With more than 70,000 volunteers across NSW, the NSW Rural Fire Service plays a critical role in protecting our local communities, especially throughout regional areas.

After the fire scares our region experienced over the past summer, we saw firsthand the incredible dedication, professionalism, and commitment of our local NSW Rural Fire Service volunteers. Their willingness to give up their time to protect lives, homes, businesses and our local community is something we are incredibly grateful for.

The work they do across Corowa and our surrounding communities is invaluable, often in challenging and dangerous conditions.

We are proud to support the people who work tirelessly to keep our local community safe. We hope this funding helps provide the tools they need to continue their outstanding work, and we sincerely thank every volunteer for their unwavering commitment to protecting our region.

Supporting organisations like the NSW Rural Fire Service is exactly what ClubGRANTS is all about, investing back into our local community and helping make a real difference where it matters most.

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that Club Corowa has officially received Development Approval for our exciting new accommodation project in Guy Street, Corowa.

We would like to sincerely thank the General Manager of Federation Council, Adrian Butler, who conveyed the wonderful news to Club Corowa President, Chris Thomas, earlier this week.

From the very beginning, our vision has been to create a premium short-stay accommodation offering that complements and strengthens the existing accommodation available throughout our beautiful region.

The development will feature a mix of stylish studio rooms, along with spacious one and two-bedroom apartments, providing flexibility for visiting family and friends, corporate travellers, sporting groups, weddings, and event guests. Importantly, it will also position Corowa to attract larger conferences, meetings and events that deliver significant economic benefits across our entire community.

While we are currently finalising the interior design with the incredibly talented Verity Rhodes Interiors, our next major step will be the building tender process. Subject to that process, we are hopeful of welcoming our first guests sometime in 2028.

Wherever possible, we will once again be engaging local trades and businesses throughout the construction, just as we did with our Mini Golf project—a development that has proven to be a fantastic investment for both Club Corowa and the wider community.

This project has always been about more than building accommodation. It is about investing in Corowa’s future, creating opportunities for local businesses, increasing tourism, supporting employment, and ensuring our Club continues to diversify and grow for generations to come.

Please follow our journey as we bring this exciting project to life. We’ll continue to share regular updates along the way, and we look forward to giving our local community the opportunity to become the very first guests to experience our beautiful new accommodation—located just one block from Club Corowa.

Finally, a heartfelt thank you to the Board of Club Corowa, who have once again chosen to invest in the future of our local community rather than pursue higher financial returns elsewhere. Their vision and commitment to Corowa will leave a lasting legacy for generations to come.

This is more than an accommodation project. It is an investment in the future of Corowa.

Every guest who stays here will support local cafés, restaurants, wineries, retailers, sporting clubs and tourism operators. Every conference, wedding, family reunion and weekend escape will create opportunities for our community to grow and prosper.
Thank you for following this journey with us. We can’t wait to share each milestone as construction begins, and we look forward to welcoming our very first guests through the doors in 2028.
