We would like to apologise to our customers for the recent confusion with Google bookings.

We recently discovered that WowApps had added their booking service to our Google Business Profile without our approval.

WowApps initially contacted us by phone to introduce their service and told us they would send further information by email. We did not agree to use their service, we did not approve any setup, and we did not authorise them to connect their booking system to our Google profile.

Despite this, their booking service was added anyway.

As a result, customers have been making booking requests through a system that we never agreed to use, causing confusion for customers and disruption to our restaurant.

We consider this an unacceptable sales practice. Introducing a service and sending information by email should never be treated as permission to activate that service for a business.

We have now contacted WowApps and requested that the booking service be removed.

To everyone who has been affected, we are genuinely sorry for the confusion and inconvenience.
