Meaning ‘Taste of the oven’ in Italian, Assaggio del Forno is a catered venue space available for hire in Coopers Creek, Gippsland 10km south of Walhalla. Enjoy relaxed and seasonal Italian food prepared in a traditional woodfired oven, using ingredients from our kitchen garden.

Amazing number of butterflies getting into the pollination game this spring. This one is doing a great job on some of our plum blossom.
A reminder we are open this Sunday 20th Sept. 11am to 6pm, fresh baked bread and bagels from 11am.

Spring is definitely here with the blueberries starting to move. A few fruit buds on this branch, how many berries will it produce, will update the count in a few weeks. Any guesses are welcome.

A couple of changes for this coming long weekend. On Saturday evening we are open from 4pm until 6pm for takeaway pizza.
On Sunday we are booked out until 2.30. We are offering takeaway only from 4pm until 6pm.
