The German Bakehouse is looking for an experienced Pastry Chef to join our team! 🥨
Immediate start.
This is a casual position offering 3-4 days per week, Monday-Friday.
➡️ Location- 1/54 Junction Drive, Coolum Beach, 4573 ⬅️
Your duties include:
▪️Prepare and decorate pastries or cakes with glazes, icings, buttercream, fillings etc.
▪️Preparing custom made pastries/cakes for orders.
▪️Preparing doughs for different products, eg; danish, strudel, pies, sausage rolls, croissant.
▪️Prepare, cook and bake savoury items such as sausage rolls, pies and quiches.
▪️Ensure cleanliness of the bakery.
To be considered for this role, you will need to:
▪️Have a passion for pastry.
▪️Have previous experience in a similar role.
▪️Have knowledge of all bakery equipment including mixers, ovens, sheeter etc.
▪️Have understanding of kitchen health and safety, and food safety principles.
▪️Have a positive attitude and love working in a team environment.
