Usually we fire up at 4, but the fryer's on from 2 this afternoon. Late lunch sorted.

Almost nobody orders the burger.

Which is fair — we're the chicken place.

But here's the thing: it's the same chicken.
Same overnight brine. Same batter (9 ingredients
in the batter alone). Same double-fry.

We just put it in a brioche bun with slaw
and our house sauce.

Ten years cooking across Australia went into
that one sandwich, and most of Coolum hasn't
tried it yet.
