📣 WE ARE HIRING 📣

EXPERIENCED BARISTA ALL ROUNDER WANTED

One of our wonderful long-term team members has made a career change, so we are looking for an experienced barista all rounder to join our team.

We are located on the foreshore of the beautiful southern Gold Coast, in Coolangatta.

We provide the security of permanent employment, including set shifts, 5 weeks of paid annual leave and sick leave.

We guarantee one weekend day-off every week, as we are supportive of a work-life balance.

We are currently offering 32 hours across five shifts.

Alternately, we can split the role between two new team members, if you’re only looking for 2-3 shifts to round out your week.

This position is ideal for someone who is confident solo behind the coffee machine, but also likes to mix it up with a few shifts on the floor serving customers.

Must have demonstrated -
• Experience making consistently great coffee in a busy environment
• Latte art skills
• Fantastic customer service attitude

We are seeking two new juniors (school aged) to join our team on the foreshore at Coolangatta.

Our cafe is a long established family business, with a supportive crew of senior staff.

Therefore experience is not required, as we can teach you everything you need to know to enter the hospitality industry.

We do not require you to be available for every weekend day / public holiday / school holiday, as we are supportive of a work-life balance, for example alongside your studies, other leisure commitments and family life.

The following qualities are ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL:

- Confidence to work with adult staff and engage with customers
- Friendly and genuinely warm personality
- Common sense and initiative
- A positive ‘can do’ attitude, coupled with the ability to move very quickly in fast paced environments
- Desire to learn, and continue to develop new skills and into more advanced roles within the team
- Commitment to being available for one weekend day each week, and some extra days during school holidays
