It takes a great team to create something special 🖤

When Trish, Marissa, Stuart and Annie came together, they shared a simple vision—to create a welcoming place where country hospitality, great coffee, unique gifts and genuine service meet in the heart of Coolabah.

Today, The Major is so much more than a café. We’re a general store, giftware shop, fuel stop and Australia Post outlet, proudly serving locals and travellers across Western NSW.

One of the things we love most is hearing comments like:
“We never expected to find somewhere like this out here!” or “Our friends said we had to stop in on our way through!”

Those words never get old 😊

We’re passionate about bringing a little fun, style and warmth to every visit, whether you’re stopping in for a coffee, filling up the tank, posting a parcel or finding the perfect gift.

What an incredible journey 💙 🚴🏼‍♀️🚴🏼‍♀️

We were honoured to welcome Bob and Tom, two inspiring cyclists to The Major this week as they stopped in for a well-earned break on their epic ride from Broome, WA, all the way to Bowral, NSW.

Together they’re cycling across Australia to raise vital funds and awareness for Motor Neurone Disease (MND). Even more remarkable, one of these determined riders is 82 years young, proving that age is no barrier when you’re driven by purpose.

Their grit, generosity and positive spirit are truly inspiring, and we wish them safe travels as they continue their incredible journey home to Bowral.

You would have seen these beautiful ladies in a few of our post. They are Trish’s school friends who venture out from the big smoke and, Colorado USA for one, every so often for overdue catchups, adventures and the odd photo shoot with the talented Naya Jeffries
