That’s a wrap on Susie’s.
What a special two years I spent at this place. Yesterday was such a beautiful reminder of what this place meant to everyone - me, my family, my staff/friends and our customers.
Everyone who came in during our last week to say bye, leave beautiful letters, and share their stories of what Susie’s meant to them, I appreciate it so much.
This place was a safe space for so many people, a warm haven during long lockdowns, a place where beautiful friendships were formed, a joyful space.
Every story you shared with me just had my Mum’s spirit absolutely shining through. She was everyone’s best friend and being in her presence was like a warm hug. And that’s what Susie’s became for so many.
Even though I’m sorry it couldn’t last for longer, I am proud of what it was 🌼💛
