💵 A little note about cash, cards & keeping our prices down…
With the upcoming changes around card surcharges, we wanted to be upfront with our Bella Hope community.
We really, REALLY don’t want to simply increase our menu prices to cover the cost of card transaction fees. Like every small business, we’re already juggling rising costs across the board, ingredients, wages, utilities, supplies… the list goes on!
And while a card fee might only look like a few cents on one coffee, across hundreds of transactions each week, those fees add up to a very real cost for a small business.
So, one of the easiest ways you can help us keep our prices as they are is to pay with cash whenever you can. 💵☕️
Of course, we completely understand that cash isn’t always convenient and cards aren’t going anywhere! This isn’t about making anyone feel guilty for tapping their card, it’s simply about being transparent about the costs behind running a small local business.
We’d much rather keep your coffee affordable than quietly add extra to every item to cover those fees.
So if you’ve got cash in your wallet, we’d absolutely love you to use it. ❤️
