Limited Menu again today due to limited staff. Kimmy’s will also be closing at 1pm today (Thursday 23/4/26).
Unfortunately this week we have not have enough staff available which has proven to be a little difficult at times.
Thank you for your understanding. We are currently in the process of training a couple more staff members to make sure this does not happen again.

Unfortunately with lower staff numbers at the moment I have had to make the decision to close for the day to celebrate my daughters achievements.

KIMMYS CAFE COHUNA
With less than 12 months before I have an empty nest it’s time for me to consider the sale of my cafe. It comes with very mixed emotions as I have put so much time and effort into my little business to make it what it is today. I absolutely love what I do, I love my job and love each and everyone of my customers but the time is coming for me to spend some quality time with my family and take some time for myself.
What started out to be a small little sit down cafe has grown to something more than I could have ever imagined.
There is still so much room to improve on what this business can really achieve. Currently opening Monday to Friday the option of opening weekends would be a perfect option for someone that has that little bit more time to give than I currently do. Kimmy’s Cafe also has a current liquor license that has not been utilised so far, giving even more options for the right person to expand on.

With tomorrow’s forecast currently sitting at 47 I have decided to close the kitchen 🥵
Kimmy’s will still have available
* all hot drinks
* iced coffee/iced hot chocolate
* milkshakes/thickshakes
*slushies
* salad bowls
* salad rolls
* toasties
* focaccias
* croissants
* fruit salad

This week is going to be hot and trading hours will be limited.
The heat situation will be monitored closely and the safety of my staff and customers will again be my main priority.
I am predicting doors will be closed around 12:00-1:00pm tomorrow.
I will be reassessing each days trading times as we work through each hot day.

* cakes and slices

Please note that due to heat and staff shortage we will only be open for limited hours and the main kitchen will not be operating.
All food and drinks will be served in takeaways.

If anyone would like to order salad rolls please let Kimmy know as she will be making a limited amount unless ordered.

EXTREME HEAT FORECAST
Please note that trading will differ Wednesday, Thursday & Friday this week due to the extreme heat forecast.
We will continue to open by 4:30am but our menu and trading hours will change.
I will be monitoring the heat within the venue but especially in the kitchen where food is being prepared and cooked. I can not keep all cooking equipment running in the predicted heat and serve within the food safety handling guidelines.
The health and safety of my staff and customers will be my main priority.
I predict that all cooking equipment will be turned off by 1pm. All drinks and our ready to go food cabinet will continue to be served until 2pm.

Please note that these trading hours are just a prediction and are subject to change throughout each day.
