⛵ COME & TRY SAILING DAY!

Ever wondered what it’s like to get out on the water and learn to sail? Now’s your chance!

Join us at Coffin Bay Yacht Club on Sunday 1st November from 9.30 am for our Come & Try Sailing Day.

Whether you’re young or young at heart, all ages are welcome (you just need to be able to swim).

Come along and learn the ropes – pun intended! Get out on the water, have a go at sailing and see what it’s all about. Prefer to stay dry? You can even learn the bridge and find out what goes on behind the scenes.

🛟 All ages welcome / Must be able to swim
👟 Bring water shoes

😎 Most importantly… come along and have some fun!

⛵ COME & TRY SAILING + OPENING DAY 2026/27 ⛵

We’re almost ready to get our 2026/27 sailing season underway!

Due to the ongoing car park works at the club, we’ve delayed the start of the season by a couple of weeks to ensure we have full access to the car park, ramps and beach entrance for our boats and trailers.

So, Sunday 1st November will be a big day at CBYC — combining our Come & Try Sailing morning with our Opening Day!

Always wanted to have a go at sailing? Come along and experience it for yourself! Our Come & Try morning is open to anyone interested in learning to sail — no experience necessary.

After a morning on the water, we’ll head back to the club for a BBQ lunch, before getting ready for the first race of the 2026/27 season.

Then it’s time to hit the water for our Opening Race! 🏁

Whether you’re an experienced sailor, keen to give sailing a go, or just want to come down and enjoy the atmosphere, come on down.

The year is flying by, and before we know it, it’ll be time for the race that stops the nation!

We’re excited to once again join forces with the Coffin Bay Bowling Club for our annual Melbourne Cup Luncheon on Tuesday, 3rd November at the Coffin Bay Yacht Club.

Come along for a fun afternoon by the foreshore with great food, drinks, sweeps, competitions and plenty of Cup Day fun!

🌅 WEDNESDAY NIGHT AT THE CLUB!

The weather is looking absolutely perfect for a spring evening in Coffin Bay! The sun is shining, the sunsets are brilliant and, as always, the views are pretty hard to beat.

We’re OPEN FROM 5PM FOR DRINKS with MEALS FROM 6PM.

Take a break from the mid-week cooking and come down for some of your favourite meals, with our mid-week menu and salad bar ready to go.

Grab a drink, enjoy the view, watch the sunset and let us do the cooking tonight!
