This Sunday we’ll be at the Adelaide Showground Farmers Market celebrating 20 years of one of our favourite Sunday traditions and we’re bringing vanilla sprinkle macarons with us! 🌈

WHEN THE CUSTOMER PICKS UP THE CAKE… AND HUGS YOU. 😭❤️

I wasn’t actually here this morning when this cake was picked up, but Trish told me what happened and honestly… these are the moments that get us.

She gave Trish the biggest hug and said, “Thank you so much. It’s like you were in my head.”

😭😭😭

And that is EXACTLY what we hope for when we make a custom cake.

This little tea party inspired cake came together with an edible floral print, vintage piping and the prettiest classic mint green and pastel pink palette. 🌸🎂

But as beautiful as the cake is…

It’s that reaction that means the most.

The moment someone sees something we’ve created for them and realises we understood exactly what they had imagined.

Those moments are why we absolutely love doing what we do.

And they’re the moments we’ll cherish forever. ❤️

CLINKERS ARE BACK FOR THE LONG WEEKEND! 🍫🍍🍋🍓

First, we divide the batch into the three iconic Clinker flavours:

🍍 Pineapple
🍋 Lime
🍓 Strawberry

Then they all get mixed together and hand coated in chocolate one by one.

Yep. Every single one. 👀

Then they make their way into the fridge, and that’s where the fun begins…

Because when you pick a Clinkers macaron, you have absolutely no idea which flavour you’re going to get! 😂

And one of our favourite things about them is seeing all the familiar little faces coming through our doors.

The kids who know exactly what they want before Mum and Dad have even made it inside. 😂

The families who make popping into the Macaron Bar part of their school holiday routine.

The “can I pick one?” followed by “actually… can I have two?” 👀

And the kids who come in just to say hello because they’ve been here a hundred times before.

We absolutely LOVE it.

There’s something pretty special about becoming one of those little places that families remember to visit during the holidays.

THE ALMOND CROISSANT MACARON 🥐🤍

This one has quietly become one of our staple flavours, so much so that lately it’s found its way into our weekly range.

Two chewy almond macaron shells, filled with roasted almond butter, dipped in white chocolate and finished with almond flakes.

Chewy. Nutty. Creamy. A little bit crunchy.

Basically… an almond croissant decided to become a macaron. 😂

And honestly, we can see why it stuck around.

THIS ONE GOES OUT TO MADDY & RYAN ❤️

Usually, Maddy and Ryan are the last people through our doors on a Tuesday night.

Religiously.

They’ve been doing it for at least the past three years. 😂

We always joke that Tuesday nights just aren’t the same if we don’t see each other…

And tonight, it really wasn’t.

Nothing’s wrong. Nothing dramatic. It just felt like something was missing.

Because instead of standing at the counter having our usual Tuesday night catch up, Maddy and Ryan are jet setting off on the other side of the world! ✈️🌍

So, Maddy & Ryan, when you see this, just know that while I was standing here filling one of your favourite macarons, Ube I was thinking about you two. 😂💜

And for everyone else who has somehow made it to the bottom of this very random Tuesday night story…
