Back in 2022, Half Baked Co. started as a small cookie business.
At the time, it was all about baking soft, gooey, loaded cookies: the kind that people would drive across town for. The name “Half Baked” came from those early days, and somehow… it just stuck 🍪
What started in a home kitchen slowly grew into something bigger. With Dave’s chef background and passion for good food, the cookies eventually turned into a full café concept. Coffees were added, then brunch... then Sandos. were added. And before we knew it, Half Baked became the cosy little spot it is today.
We’re tucked away in the same building as Woolies on Beach Road, and funnily enough, we still get people walking in daily saying, “I didn’t even know this place was here!”

We’re a small café built from a love of good food, good coffee, and creating a space that feels warm, relaxed, and easy to come back to.
