No, it’s not April’s Fools 🤭
Hi everyone, it’s Andrew, Yuko & Mel here 🫶🏼
This past week has been the longest, craziest, humbling, EMOTIONAL week of our Odd Room journey.
We braced the cold winter Saturday morning 8.5 years ago, full of excitement and anticipation of opening our doors, welcoming strangers into our little space, hoping that what we do will mean something. Little did we know how MUCH this space would change our lives.
Many of you have taught us the truest form of friendships and kindness. Within these walls we’ve found genuine people, kind souls, great friends. We’ve met the most generous hearts, people with weird sense of humour 😂; people whom we now dearly call our family.
On our last week, our hearts are full to the brim. So many tight hugs were shared, so many tears were shed (well, mostly Mel’s🤪), so many good memories were told. We are so privileged to witness remarkable milestones throughout the years. Oh, the children who were born and grew up in front of our eyes!! 😭
You can imagine how hard it is to express our feelings, our gratitude, our remorse for stuffing up your morning routine 🙈😳 Please don’t be mad, and send us off with your love ☺️
As we prepare ourselves on a new journey, carrying these amazing values you’ve imparted within us to a new place, all we could say is thank you for everything you’ve done for us, and we hope we won’t disappoint you 🫶🏼 We are keeping this account open as a point of contact should you need us, and to show you how we’re doing 😆
We specifically wanted to thank for their amazing, endless support. We knew nothing about coffee before we started, and their passion inspired us to be better everyday; we owed our career to them ❤️
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, and we are deeply wishing to see you all again.
Stay well, Odd fambams.
We love you, truly.
❤️❤️❤️
