CLOSING NOTICE

Four years ago, we set out to do something different.

We opened Australia’s first ramen shop dedicated entirely to chicken broth, built on a simple belief:

Ramen is not just about tonkotsu.

In Japan, the depth and elegance of chicken broth ramen is something deeply loved and respected. Our dream was to bring that taste and tradition to Australia, and to share a different side of ramen with our community.

Even today, we remain the only ramen shop in Australia focused entirely on chicken broth.

Over the past four years, we have been incredibly fortunate to meet so many wonderful customers. To our regulars who returned again and again, and to everyone who supported us along the way —

thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

This decision to close has not been made lightly. Until the very last day, we will continue doing what we have always done — making our chicken broths from scratch, with the same care and dedication as the very first bowl we served.

As we approach our final days, some dishes may gradually sell out, so please excuse us if menu choices become limited.

Although not all eggs are peeled perfectly, diners can definitely know that we peel and marinate all the eggs by ourselves as one of our routine preparations.

We marinated our egg with our shoyu kaeshi to give it not just basic simple soy sauce flavouring but with few different layers of flavours.

Dear valued customers,

As the festive season approaches, we’re here to make your last-minute shopping (and ramen cravings!) a little easier. To help fuel your holiday spirit, we’ll be opening early on the following days:

8:00 AM on December 24th, 26th, and 31st

2024 has been quite the rollercoaster, and we’re incredibly grateful for your unwavering support. Thanks to you, we’ve been able to weather the challenges and continue serving up the ramen you love.

While we made the tough decision to close our North Sydney location, we remain committed to being your go-to chicken broth ramen shop. With innovative flavor twists and our dedication to quality, we hope to keep you coming back for more.

From the bottom of our hearts, we wish you and your family a joyful Christmas and an even better start to 2025.

Dear friends,

After a great deal of thought and reflection on everything that has transpired over the past few months, I have come to the very difficult decision to close my OG store in North Sydney. It’s not a choice I’ve made lightly, but I believe it’s the best step forward as I am unable to operate it in the way it needs to thrive.

Our last trading day in North Sydney will be Friday, 29th November. We will be open as usual this week (except Wednesday, as we don’t have staff available) during the following hours:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday: 11:00 AM – 2:30 PM

I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to every one of you who has supported us over the past two years. Your visits and encouragement have been invaluable, and I couldn’t have achieved what we did without you. I truly appreciate it.

If there are any business operators interested in taking over the site, please feel free to reach out to me directly, and I’ll do my best to connect you with the managing agent.

As for our Chatswood kiosk, I’ll continue as the owner and chef, bringing a refreshed menu in December to better cater to the vibrant trading style of Hawker Lane.

Once again, thank you so much for your support. I hope to see you around when you visit Chatswood!

To all the customers,

Many things have happened lately which results to irregular operating hours changes.

Many promises have been broken, trusts been lost, people been dismissed as a result to it.

Kitchen is going through a new restructuring as well as new recruitment involved.

Please bear with us while we go through this little tough time, one thing to say. We will still continue to keep up with our ramen taste and consistancy.

Please be kind to us for No Last Minutes Cancellations as we only cater 8 customers per session and we have to prepare all ingredients beforehand.

Friday one session only starts 6:30pm

Saturday two sessions start 5pm and 7pm
