MEET OUR CAFÉ BAKER, MENU CREATOR, HEAD CHEF & OWNER OF TRIPLE 7 CAFE, LEONIE SIGANTO!!!

Leonie recently got married to her long time friend of 30 years, first meeting in Darwin back in 1990's & reignited a long time and long awaited romance with Damien Siganto, 18 months ago, who is also a Cook and works at Triple 7 Cafe...

Back story...
From baking with her Father in Darwin in their family owned business called "Danish Pastries" As a little girl, she watched her father make amazing cakes & pastries. She has learnt from her father who was an Excutive Chef. And now most of what she knows is being self taught. She ran her own home based Cake business in Townsville, Called Sweet As Candy. Creating delicious treats & specialty cakes for many years. And has now opened Triple 7 Cafe in Charters Towers, to continue her passion for creating amazing food & Speciality cakes at Triple 7 Cafe. Leonie's love for baking has come a long way!

With a Certificate III in Cookery and experience across a range of venues.

Her favourite thing to make is specialty dishes across a wide range. She loves having the creative freedom to experiment with new ideas and bring her own signature creations to life.

Throughout her career, Leonie has created her own recipes that she now uses at Triple 7 Cafe.... and of course her CAKES!!!
But what means the most to her? Hearing a happy guest say how much they loved something she’s made. 🥰

Next time you’re at Triple 7 make sure you say hi and try one of Leonie's delicious creations!
