Hey, Sprout fam.

Firstly, we love you guys. Through a pretty wacky year - and the slightly less wacky year before that - you guys have been amazing. Bloody drought, fire, Coronavirus, flood... you have been there with us for all of it. I can't actually put into words what that has meant to me and to us. You guys are... man... you're just frickin' amazing.

So you know that when I say we're permanently closing Sprout on Christmas Eve, it's not you, it's me. We''ve got some life stuff that we need to take care of. It's not drama... but it needs our attention.

We're open for business as usual this week until closing up on Thursday arvo. We'd love to see you before then to share some festive vibes and tell you in person how great we think you are!

We love you guys. Thanks for being so great.

We'll be closed over the weekend and will reopen on Thursday the 8th of October. Woohoo! 5 day weekend!

Hey, hey... its beginning to feel a lot like Spring!!! To celebrate, check out our new goodies - all dairy free Coco-Coolers! All coconut water based icy slushy smoothie treats with a bunch of different fruity flavours (and the occasional cheeky veg!).

So when I got my delivery of fresh waffles in, I was like: "Yeah - take pics for Waffle Week!"... but we ate all the samples. Then I was like: "Yeah! Pics for Waffle Wednesday"... but we ate all the samples. So now, I have finally taken pics... and I have promptly eaten the sample. At least I got the photo this time!!!

So (finally!) introducing locally made Belgian waffles with homemade berry mess, whipped cream and a tiny drizzle of maple. Not too sweet and full of grown-up treat yumminess :)

Happy Sunday, Sprout fam! Just a little rant to say thank you...

Over glorious Sunday morning coffee, I was thinking about the last few weeks. They've been pretty challenging and the hard work of the Sprout gang has been amazing. But what's blowing my mind most is the everyday support that we receive from you guys - our Sprout fam.

Every day, I've had awesome people asking us how things are going and giving us good vibes and love. Those people - you guys! - have come in and supported our business while so much is going on in the world and in everyone's lives. Your support doesn't just make a difference to our business - it makes a real difference to our family. At a time when we are all far away from many of the people that we love, it's amazing to feel such a beautiful sense of community and connection.

So thank you. Thanks for helping us - and the other small businesses in town - get through a challenging time for all of our community. Thanks for coming in with smiles, beautiful grace and a clear aim to keep calm and carry on. Thanks for grabbing lunch or a coffee just to help us get on with business. Thanks for supporting other hospitality places by grabbing takeaway meals, dinners and drinks and ensuring that our business community is strong as we come out of COVID19 craziness. Thanks for helping keep people employed and, therefore, making a difference in families all over our region.

So on a sunny and lovely Sunday and every other day in the months that are to come, know that I'm sending all the good vibes to all of you.

Hi, Sprout fam! Some of our gang are all sneezey, sniffly and pretty gross this morning (don't worry - just crazy hayfever!) so we won't be open today. Sorry! It's one of the catches of having a small team and a family business :/
