My life as a coffee buyer has shown me the richness of community, something we tend to neglect in our busy lives. For many coffee producers the strength of their community is their greatest asset, whether it's helping a neighbour build a house or just a hand on their shoulder when times are hard.
Make someone's day in your community- give them a smile and a hello, even if they don't smile back. You'll win them over eventually.
