😭 Today nearly broke me, well this week 😭
Or the past few weeks
I don't know what's going on in the universe, but.....
Being a mum, being a working mum, having a business, working for food trucks, and everything else, it's hard.
No matter how much plans, ideas, well wishes, and effort, not everything goes to plan.
Things can change frequently, people can get sick, people can throw curveballs at your plans, equipment may not work how you would like it too, other equipment may not fit in your car but....
But today, once I arrived at Victoria Uni for my fourth time ( the third time with this client directly, I discovered I had left my sauce bottles in my old caravan fridge).
No big deal, really. I had most sauces, but I decided to Uber them from my house to where I was, and then once first customer came, the whipping cream (which I generally never use) was making the cream hardly come out.
My dad tried to work it out, but then, after my brain processed all the things I worked out, I didn't open it correctly 🤦♀️
And then once we got through our serve of Waffles & S'mores hot Chocolate, I went and got some food truck food from Maple Leaf Meats
What helped was obviously my cool, calm collective dad, the very kind words from Geetansh and his team, and tiny tiny little miracles.
What didn't work the weather, the equipment I was hoping for, another staff member to help and a few other things.
I don't generally allow myself time to post, but tonight I am, why because this is reality somedays and sometimes all we need is customers who help.
