๐ Oh, food truck life, what doesn't kill you ๐
Well, it can try, try in every single way possible, but what doesn't kill you makes you stronger right ๐ช.
Well, I must be bulletproof food truck coated.
12 years ago (give or take), this crazy dream started.
I used to visit food trucks all around, especially Yarraville gardens.
I used to talk with all the owners as I wanted to know all the details.
But until you are fully in the game of food trucks, the game isn't real, until well you're in it.
My dream at the time was trading at Yarraville Gardens, well that never happened.
I believe I got the permit, but then I got it cancelled, so I was heartbroken.
My only thought at that stage was trading there as that was the main spot.
Fast forward to 10 years later, overcoming the covid period, having a daughter and at the very last minute being approved by the same council to be at a once in a lifetime event like the westgate tunnel project open day.
And to be on the start street and finishing street and dealing with typical Melbourne weather.
But oh wait, there more.
Today, I was supposed to be catching up with dads side of the family, but with this opportunity, it was a heartbreaking decision.
See my family all together on a happy occasion or take this opportunity with the business that I love and have worked so hard to keep going do what I do best.
There are so many tough moments in this game, but what makes it possible.
My family, my friends, my amazing workmates, my bosses (all food truck owners), my food truck family, and each and every one of you.
Now to go clean a food van โฎ๏ธ
