With the gradual change of season we are excited to be pouring a collection of museum release wines from , at Agostino. The bounty of spring produce that has hit the menu, is the perfect accompaniment to the savoury elegance of these wines.

The Radikon family’s vineyard holdings cover some 18 hectares of steep slopes in and around Oslavia, near the Slovenia/Italy border. Since 1980, Stanislao (Stanko) Radikon has made the wines alongside his wife Suzana. Their son, Sasa, has recently taken the reins and continues the exciting story of this remarkable producer.

These wines are the benchmark for an unwavering commitment to the natural wine movement. The famous amber wines are made with extremely long skin maceration, years of time in barrel and a long rest in bottle before release. This process reveals wines that are deeply golden in colour, firmly structured, wild and of a singular character.

Radikon is not for the faint of heart. If you are a skin contact new-comer, the wines can be challenging at first. However, if you are familiar with the style these are some of the rarest and most sought-after creations in this genre that can be found anywhere in the world.

Cascina Tavijn 'Toc' Slarina. Made by local Piedmontese winemaker Nadia Verrua, whose family has been farming in the alpine hills of Monferrato for more than a century.
