Bonjour tout le monde
Joyeux Baroquefest! 🎻🎶🎵
I’ve made a chocolate cake with a ricotta, glacé cherry, crystallised ginger and dark chocolate filling, and you’ll have to like butter as there’s half a kilo in the frosting. It’s also soaked in a Marsala syrup. It’s quite nice.
Alternatively you may like the baklava cheesecake with rose and orange blossom water. Third week in a row making this. You know the one.
And we have osso bucco pies this weekend if you’re over sweetness.

Morning!
I hope your weekends are going well. I tried to post this yesterday but didn’t get round to it unfortunately. The sponge is gone but there is still some blueberry mousse cake and other delicacies on offer.
And for those wanting something savoury we have beef goulash pies, little smoked salmon quiches, feta and spinach spirals and toasties (including the illustrious bacon and egg rolls if you’re so inclined).

So come on a day trip to Canowindra. We’re open until 4pm. 💋

WE’RE OPEN TODAY AND TOMORROW this week.
Hummingbird cake is on the menu today with a lemon curd, and baklava. For the savoury side I have made Beef Goulash and Coq au Vin pies. There are also the illustrious bacon and egg rolls.

Afternoon lovelies
Yes, there is a cake in this photo somewhere, an orange and poppyseed one. If sweet is not your fancy you may like the Beef Goulash or Coq au Vin pies. We’re open Saturdays and Sundays 8:30 ish till 4 pm.

Morning lovelies
I’ve made a baklava honey cake with only one beehive’s worth of honey and I was able to get it in the fridge. Last time was too sweet and too tall. 😐. This is accompanied by a strawberry sponge and Mellie made kourabiedes - Greek almond biscuits.
Prefer savoury? There are Boeuf Bourguignon pies, feta and spinach filo spirals and bacon and egg rolls.

Afternoon lovelies
I hope your weekends are going swimmingly although with the temperature this morning I’m tending to think that swimming would be somewhat awful. Nevertheless, baked caramel cheesecake might sound better. If savoury is on your mind chicken and leek pies might be your thing. There’s also a nice fruit of passion sponge, baklava berry cheesecake and strawberry financiers (friands).
