Heck yeah! I’m looking forward to winter weddings at Lakeview. 🤍🤍

I’m sure it doesn’t surprise you to hear that, as a photographer in Orange NSW, Winter is the season I take time to rest, reset, and spend time with my kids (hello Winter sport madness!). But after yesterday’s wedding, I’m here to say a big HELL YEAH to more Winter weddings!

Yes, it is cold, but there are so many more positives that outweigh having to add a stylish coat or fur to your outfit!

❄️ Because it is their slow season, you will be able to book your dream venue and team of vendors

❄️ Your friends and family are less likely to be in their own busy or party season, which means they aren’t burnt out and don’t have schedule clashes

❄️ No sweaty bridal party. That is all

❄️ Winter sunsets are truly spectacular! They’re also earlier in the day compared to Summer, which means your photographer will definitely be there to capture you both in the best light, and you’re also not having to sneak out of your reception to do more photos

❄️ You’re going to plan for a (mostly) indoor event, which not only means everyone will be warm inside or by the fire pit, it means you won’t be disappointed about bad weather like those who have their hearts set on, and plan for, outdoor venue events
