Did you know that most delivery platforms charge between 25-35 percent commission to the businesses on top of delivery charges!!!

Most businesses if they are doing everything by the book achieve 10-15 percent net profit If they achieve the minimum turnover to make the business sustainable. While this would not be an issue normally, during these tough times the turnover is no where at the levels it needs to be!!! So we would request you to share this as much as possible and avoids these platforms and use them as a last resort!!! Small businesses need this support desperately in order to be alive when this is over as the act government especially has provided no support to small businesses since the bushfires started!!! We are in the middle of a perfect storm which most businesses won’t be able to survive without your support!!!

Unfortunately this scheme added no value to small businesses as the business minister missed the mark completely without little understanding of how hard and which businesses needed support!!! People stopped going to restaurants and cafes but never stopped buying groceries!!!

We should be glad 'only' $2 million was spent on this scheme.
