Everything old is new again.
Officially opened on 3 December 1927, the Sydney Building has long been home to Canberra’s stories, characters and late-night rituals.
The corner Luna now proudly calls home began as Snow’s Corner, a drapery business run by Mr and Mrs E.R. Snow, before later becoming Fletcher Jones — a name many Canberrans still remember fondly.
In 2022, planning and construction began on Luna, a new addition to Canberra’s nightlife precinct and a fitting next chapter for this storied location.
Our doors officially opened in February 2023, bringing new light, energy and late-night charm to one of Canberra’s most iconic corners.
So join us under the Luna lights for a cocktail, a nibble and a boogie in a place almost a century in the making.
