It is with a blend of emotions that we share some news, and we do so with the same love and warmth that you’ve showered upon us throughout these fantastic 4 years. Propaganda Bistro in Erindale is set to close its doors, marking the end of an incredible journey!

To our lovely customers, incredible friends, and supportive families, our hearts overflow with gratitude for being the heartbeat of Propaganda. Your unwavering support has been our guiding light. As the challenges in the hospitality world intensify with rising costs, we find ourselves making the tough decision to say our goodbyes.

Family responsibilities have called us in a new direction, prompting us to close this chapter. It’s a decision made with heavy hearts, but it’s one we must make to ensure we meet these responsibilities head-on.

On December 16, we’ll be dishing out our final servings, bidding a heartfelt farewell to our cherished Propaganda home. We’d be absolutely thrilled if you could drop by, share in one last feast with us, and give us a stylish send-off.

Here’s the scoop – we’ve got a mere two weeks left, so ensure you secure your spot by booking a table in advance. Let’s create lasting memories and make these final moments at Propaganda truly unforgettable together!

“Bánh Xèo” translates to “sizzling” in Vietnamese, a name that perfectly captures the excitement as the batter meets the hot pan, creating a delightful sizzle. Our batter is a blend of regular flour, rice flour, turmeric, and coconut water, with the key to achieving its irresistible crispiness being the hot pan. Inside these golden pancakes, you’ll find a tasty mix of minced pork, crunchy bean sprouts, and tender mung beans.

To enjoy these pancakes, we serve them folded over, allowing you to wrap them in fresh lettuce leaves with a dash of sweet and sour fish sauce, known as “nuoc cham.” It’s a dish close to my heart and perfect for sharing with loved ones.
