Have you wondered how silver skin affects coffee flavor? The natural processed beans have relatively more silver skin on the outside, and they can more thoroughly removed during roasting, so there is relatively less when grinding; while washed beans have more silver skin inside the beans, which will leave a lot after roasting, and appear more during grinding. Of course, it is directly related to the degree of roasting. The darker the roast, the cleaner the silver skin will be. In general, there is little flavour of the silver skin and it does not affect taste of the coffee.
