More car parking has just opened in the city.

Canberra’s Molonglo Group have opened a new carpark at 5 Nangari Street (behind 221 London Circuit).

The car park is very close to popular public venues like the Canberra Theatre Centre and the National Convention Centre.

The 280-bay, EV provisioned facility significantly boosts supply in this busy part of the city.

At street level, five new shopfronts will form Garage Eats — a small food and retail strip that draws on successful examples of car park eateries from around the world, such as Melbourne’s Soi38.

Melted, the toasted sandwich shop, will open its second Canberra store here.

The carpark is now open 24/7 and entry is via Nangari Street in Civic.
