If you love Anita Gelato, Sandy is one of the people behind the scenes who makes it all happen!

For the past 8 years, Sandy has been an incredible part of our Anita family. As our senior gelato maker and kitchen supervisor, he helps ensure that every batch of gelato meets the standards of quality and consistency we’re so proud of.

From training the next generation of gelato makers to overseeing our kitchens and making sure every flavour is just right, Sandy puts so much care and dedication into everything he does.

And if you’ve ever seen our kitchen floors, you’ll know Sandy takes cleanliness VERY seriously. We’re convinced they’re clean enough to eat off! (He’s also available for hire if your floors need some attention 🧹😂).

We’re hiring a full team for our new Anita Gelato location at Rouse Hill Town Centre! 🍦

We’re looking for gelato makers, supervisors and line staff. Training starts immediately at one of our metropolitan stores, ahead of the new location opening.

We’d love to hear from people who are energetic, reliable, organised, eager to learn and enjoy working as part of a team. Local applicants will be prioritised.

Weekend and public holiday availability is required. Gelato maker shifts start at 7 am. Morning, afternoon-to-evening and evening-to-late shifts are available.

Kitchen or food preparation experience is preferred for gelato makers, but it’s not essential. Coffee or hospitality experience is a bonus, and full training is provided.

Management and gelato maker positions are long-term roles. We’re ideally looking for applicants who can commit for 12 months or more.

Full working rights are preferred. Please include your visa or work-rights status when applying, along with your preferred role and availability.

🍦 WE’RE HIRING A GELATO MAKER IN WEST END, BRISBANE 🍦

Anita Gelato West End is looking for a passionate and reliable Gelato Maker to join our kitchen team.

We prefer applicants with full Australian working rights and flexible weekday and weekend availability. International students with suitable availability and permitted working hours will also be considered.

The role involves preparing our gelato, following recipes and maintaining a clean, organised kitchen.

You’ll need to:

• Be available for shifts between 7am and 4pm
• Be able to work weekdays and weekends
• Be able to lift and carry up to 10 kg
• Be reliable, organised and comfortable working as part of a team

Kitchen or food-preparation experience is preferred but not essential. The role includes three months of on-the-job training.
