Hi everyone, brrrrrr, another miserable day. Reminder time..
We have some delicious dishes to warm you up this week.
Mains is the thick and hearty New England corn, potato and bacon chowder, fairly self explanatory, more a stew than a soup. This will come our specialty criss cross loaf- homemade bread, stuffed with caramelised onion relish and cheddar cheese, all ready for you to bake fresh when you are ready to eat it.
$13.50 per serve, $54 for 4 etc.
Our cake of the week is a new one, l have been assured it is a wonderful recipe and it keeps very well- upside-down pear and parkin cake. A northern English recipe, a bit like a gingerbread with the addition of treacle, cinnamon and ginger, but also has some oats in it, so it has to be good for you- right?
$28 for a whole, $7 per individual serve.

On the menu this week is the perfect dish for a cold winter’s night- a traditional cottage pie but with a mixed vegetable mash on the top, so loads of flavour.
We will need an ovenproof dish please. $13.50 per serve, $54 for 4 etc.
The sweet treat is the equally delicious blackberry cheesecake cookies. These amazing babies have a lemon cheesecake insert in the middle of white chocolate and blackberry biscuit. Yummo. $7 for 2.

Reminder time.
On the menu this week- we thought it was time for one of our most popular dishes to make a reappearance, Spinach and ricotta cannelloni! So delicious and perfect for chilly evenings.
$13.50 per serve, $54 for 4 etc. We will need an ovenproof dish for this one as we give it to you unbaked, ready for you to cook when you are ready to eat.
Dessert is a little bit fancy, rhubarb ( thanks Jen for the rhubarb) and meringue tartlets. Crisp orange flavoured pastry bases, a tangy rhubarb filling, then finished with some meringue dots. Yummo. $7 per tart.

Afternoon everyone, sorry about the late post, l have been out enjoying some rousing Celtic music at the Robbie Burns festival. Congratulations to everyone involved in organising it, what a great weekend.
On the menu this week- we thought it was time for one of our most popular dishes to make an appearance, Spinach and ricotta cannelloni! A mix of cheeses and spinach, piped into cannelloni shells, placed on a bed of homemade tomato sauce, then covered in a bechamel sauce with a crunchy topping. So delicious and perfect for chilly evenings.

Reminder time- though not sure this worked on Sunday, so it might be new to everyone! Silly me.
On the menu this week we have French chicken with paprika. Chicken cutlets are baked in a mild paprika and red capsicum sauce, then made thick and delicious with a dollop of sour cream. Extra yummy. This will come with some buttered pasta.
Our new prices start this week so $13.50 per serve, $54 for 4 etc. We will need a container for the chicken and one for the pasta please.
I have just discovered our cake of the week (curtesy of Jane, thank you so much) and l am sure you will love it too as it is absolutely delicious. This is a Nagi-Recipe Tin Eats delight, spiced pumpkin cake with a tangy cream cheese icing. So moist and such a beautiful colour. $7 per individual serve, or $28 for a whole.

On our menu this week we have added a soup/bread combo to our rotation of recipes.
We are starting with a delicious curried cauliflower soup with a pistachio sambal which is mixture of herbs, spices and pistachios. The soup is fairly mild in flavour, but if you would like it either more or less spicy, just let us know when ordering.
This will come with a rustic dipping bread, perfect for soaking up those yum flavours. We need a container for the soup and a smaller one for the sambal.
$12.50 per serve, $50 for 4 etc.
The cake this week is one of our favs, moist apple and pear cake with a crunchy topping. If you like ginger, we can add some in, please tell us when ordering.
$28 for a whole, $7 for an individual.

* As of next week our main course price will rise by $1 to $13.50 per serve. Cakes etc will remain the same. I am sure all of you are aware how much food prices have risen in the last few years and this is our first price rise in about 4 years.

On our menu this week we have ham hock and vegetable risotto which will come with a Parmesan sourdough crumble to sprinkle over the top when serving for a bit of crunch.
$12.50 per serve, $50 for 4 etc.
The sweet treat this week is a salted peanut and chocolate chunk cookie. A delicious blend of the two with a tiny hint of sea salt flakes. Very moorish. These will be 2 for $7- they are large!
