Hi folks, reminder time.
We have a yummo dish for the cooler weather on this week, meatloaf Wellingtons which will come with a red wine and mushroom sauce. ( I know, mushrooms + Wellingtons + Patterson, not a good combo, but l promise no dodgy ones here)
You can either order individual ones, or larger ones if you are serving a few people as depicted in the picture. Your choice, just say which you prefer when ordering. We will need a container for the meatloaf and one for the sauce please.
$12.50 per serve, $50 for 4 etc.
The sweet treat is a blueberry orange drizzle cake, some lovely fresh flavours to enjoy as a dessert or for afternoon tea.
$28 for a whole, $7 for an individual.
This will be our last week of cooking before l head off, l am back at the end of May.

Hi folks, hope you are all keeping warm.

Reminder time.
On the menu this week this week we have French style chicken and potatoes. This a is a delicious one pot dinner, chicken pieces cooked in a yummy homemade sauce with carrots and potatoes. We will give you buttered noodles to go with it, you just add a salad or some greens, and you have a complete meal.
$12.50 per serve, $50 for 4 etc.
The sweet treat is one of my favourite slices, Limoncello spritz bars. Reminiscent of a grown up version of the old fashioned lemon coconut slice, but you actually make the lemon and coconut shortbread that goes in the middle. Absolutely delicious.
$28 for a whole slice, $14 for half and $7 for a quarter.

Happy Easter everyone, how is this glorious day!

Hi everyone, reminder time.
As it is Easter next weekend we have our usual seafood pie to celebrate the occasion, or just because it is yum! An assortment of seafood will be folded through a creamy white wine sauce with some leeks, carrots etc. We couldn’t decide whether to do a puff pastry top or a cheesy mashed potato top, so we are giving you the choice. Please indicate which you would prefer when ordering.
We will need an ovenproof dish for this one. Please be aware it is not suitable to freeze and we will give it to you unbaked, so you can cook it fresh when you are ready to eat it.
The cost just for this week for the pie is a little more- $15 per serve, $60 for 4 etc as l am sure you are aware how much the cost of everything has gone up, including seafood.
The cake this week is one of our all time favourites, French Strawberry Dessert Cake. Always delicious and looks so pretty.
$28 for a whole, $7 per individual serve.
We also have to make Florentines for an order, so if anyone would like some, they will be $2.50 each.

Hi everyone, back to some lovely weather, hope you are enjoying this glorious day.

Hi everyone, reminder time.
On the menu this week we have a delicious, fragrant but not too hot, Bombay beef curry. Slow cooked, the meat is tender and the sauce, full of flavour. This will come with basmati rice, so we will need two containers please.

Dessert is a classic from the Women’s Weekly recipe book, Dream Bars. This slice has a shortbread type base, then a creamy custardy type filling with coconut and fruit mince, so yum.

* Just the heads up that l am heading off ( on yet!) another trip on the 21st April for 5 weeks so we will have a little pause, although Ruth will be busy doing some catering. Hi everyone, reminder time.
On the menu this week we have another of our favourites, pastitiso. It is sort of like the Greek version of lasagna but comes in distinct layers - with bottom being pasta flavoured with cheese, then a hearty meat sauce with the Greek flavourings, and finally topped with a creamy cheese sauce. Delicious!
$12.50 per serve or $50 for 4 etc. We will need an ovenproof dish for this one and we can loan you one, or use foil if you haven’t anything suitable.
Dessert is making full use of my home grown produce, a pear and cinnamon cake, which we can make with or without ginger, depending on your tastes.
$28 for a whole, $7 for an individual serve.
