❤️ THANK YOU St Helens & the Bay of Fires - Tasmania Our long weekend away was JUST what we needed! 🥰

Our first weekend off together as a family in FAR too long! (That’s all part of small business).

Caught up with Garry’s mate from Fire and Rescue NSW of 30+ years and his lovely wife who drove 3 hours to meet up with us on their Tassie travels.

The weekend was a much-needed opportunity to switch off, recharge, reconnect and, most importantly, take some time to reflect, refocus, set new goals and reassess our priorities.

Sometimes stepping away from the everyday hustle and bustle gives you the clarity you need to see what really matters.

Feeling refreshed, re-energised and ready for the next chapter.

WHAT AN INCREDIBLE STATE WE LIVE IN. We have a special love for the east coast. The pristine waters, the seafood, the livestyle!

Exciting changes ahead!

🚌 🚐 🚌 MON • TUE • WED: 3 VERY DIFFERENT BUS GROUPS!

MONDAY — Two busloads of school students stopped in for lunch. They were international students from Chile🇨🇱, Columbia🇨🇴 , Canada 🇨🇦 , USA 🇺🇸 and a few other countries! Such a pleasure to host and such beautiful manners🙏. A credit to their host school.

TUESDAY — A wonderful group of tourists from India 🇮🇳 joined us for lunch experiencing the incredible hospitality of Experiential Tasmania Their tours & guides are NEXT LEVEL. The group’s morning was shucking oysters at Freycinet, then here to us in Campbell Town for lunch, then headed off to Pumphouse Point at Lake St Clair for the night. What a lovely group!

WEDNESDAY — Smith's Travel Club Tasmania visited for lunch. A great mixed group of Tasmanians who regularly enjoy day trips around our state and on the mainland 🇦🇺. Lovely group, but my absolute highlight was meeting a 94-year-old lady who was born in Campbell Town and used to walk past our Church every day on her way home from school. ❤️ I LOVE hearing stories like that!

Three VERY different groups, all ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and every one of them an absolute pleasure to host. We've also received some incredible feedback, which means so much to us.

With each tour group I also speak about our story, history of The Church and the history of Campbell Town.

One of the things we love most about growing The Church is bringing people to Explore Campbell Town. People who wander our streets, discover our history, visit other businesses and hopefully come back again. Thanks to Harmony on High Street who also hosted today's group to tell them about the Convict Brick Trail and explore their gallery.

I'm exhausted but I absolutely LOVE welcoming people here and promoting our beautiful town. ❤️

Thank you for visiting Campbell Town!

🔌BUSINESS PLUG for Valley Tallow ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

One of the lovely stallholders you'll find here at our live music & markets on the last Sunday of every month is Valley Tallow.

For the last couple of nights I've been smothering their “Calendula Infused Tallow Cream” on my face... and I LOVE IT!

I've had eczema off & on my whole life, I've have Scottish rosy cheeks, and now I'm 58, I can add ageing skin to the list! 🤣

My skin is soaking this stuff up like a very very dry sponge😅! And what surprised me is that it doesn't feel greasy, it feels nourishing. My skin just seems to drink it in.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT ❤️ And I should add, I DON'T endorse products I don't genuinely LOVE. If I tell you I love something, it's because I've actually tried it and I do!

Valley Tallow describes this as suitable for “nappy rash, eczema, sunburn & dry skin”. So, Im taking this jar up to my grandbabies, 1 who has eczema and I'll buy another for me.

❤️ Support our stallholders. Support small local businesses.

💙 Today, on National Police Remembrance Day, I remember and honour every police officer whose life has been sadly lost.

Those killed in the line of duty.
Those lost in crashes.
Those murdered simply because they wore a uniform.
And the many, many we have tragically lost to su***de, carrying wounds that were not always visible.
Some my colleagues.

Having worn the uniform myself, today will always mean something deeply personal to me.

Behind every statistic is a loved person. A family. Friends. Colleagues. A police family that remembers.

Some gave their lives in a single terrible moment. Others carried the impact of policing long after their shift had ended.

Today, we remember them all. 💙

🚐 ✈Plug a local business: I met the lovely couple who own Launceston Airport Shuttle & Transfers yesterday. So, if you need an airport shuttle, they are located in Cressy and cover a large area!

Follow their page so you have their details when needed. Much better than paying for numerous nights of airport parking.

Moved to Northern Midlands Tasmania 2018 and has never looked back. Served 25 years in the Army, 3 years in immigration detention centres and employed driving bus's in Brisbane.
Because of the lack of transport to the airport I decided to take this on
