Camden Meals on Wheels We are a community based not for profit organisation supporting the elderly in Camden.

Camden Meals on Wheels has been caring for the Camden community since 1970. Through the provision of prepared meals, transport and social support, our staff and volunteers support older members of our community to remain living independently in their home. We provide support services across the Camden local government area including: Bickley Vale, Camden, Camden south, Catherine Field, Cawdor, Cobbitty, Currans Hills, Elderslie, Allis Lane, Gledswood Hills, Grasmere, Gregory Hills, Harrington Park Kirkham, Leppington, Mount Annan, Narellan, Narellan Vale, Oran Park, Rossmore, Smeaton Grange and Spring Farm.

Thinking of Volunteering?

Camden Meals on Wheels will be attending the Volunteer Expo this Saturday at Camden Civic Centre. The expo starts at 10am!

We will be at Stall 17, come along and say hello to our team and find out about the services we provide to our local community.

Volunteering with us is about so much more than delivering a meal. It's about our clients seeing a friendly face, having a conversation, lending a helping hand and making sure they feel connected and supported.

Whether you have a few hours to spare, want to meet new people or are simply curious about how you can make a difference, come and have a chat with our friendly team.

Good morning All,

Happy Monday 😀

A friendly reminder our walk and talk is on this morning. We are meeting at 10am at the Camden Memorial Walkway. It's a perfect morning to be outdoors, the sun is shining, the birds are chirping and we've got some friendly faces joining us today.

The walk is free to attend.

Last month we celebrated National Meals on Wheels Day. The purpose of the day is for us to recognise the invaluable role our volunteers play in the services we deliver. We couldn't provide all the support we do to our community without the help of our wonderful volunteers!

One of our very own Volunteers has been added to the honour role for Meals on Wheels for 25 years of dedicated service to our organisation. Kay has shown up month after month, has lent a helping hand, shared a friendly smile, donated her famous jams to our events and continues to make a difference to so many of our clients.

Kay has been away the last month so today while she was here for her meal delivery, we were also able to give Kay her 25-year service pin and her certificate. Thank you, Kay, for being such an important part of our Camden Meals on Wheels team. 💐🎉

Eating well can help you stay strong, maintain your independence and continue doing the things you enjoy. Food should be tasty, enjoyable and nourishing for your body and mind.

Our nutritional needs can change as we get older. Changes in appetite, activity, medications, health conditions, difficulties with chewing or swallowing and changes to taste and smell can also affect what and how much we eat. This means the quality of the food we eat becomes particularly important. Eating a wide variety of foods, with regular meals and snacks will help to ensure you are getting all the nutrients that your body needs for good health.

How can Camden Meals on Wheels support you?
We provide nutritious meals designed to support the needs of older people, supported by the National Meal Guidelines for Older Australians. We have a huge range of menu options and also stock Lite n'Easy meals.

Trivia night - part 2!

A huge thank you again to our Sponsors, our team for putting on such a fantastic night, everyone who purchased raffle tickets and the local businesses who donated prizes. We are very grateful for all of the support!

We have all recovered and now are in full planning mode for 2027 🎉🧠

Our Trivia Night was a huge success - lots of laughs, friendly competition, great company, hard trivia questions and plenty of fun along the way!

A big thank you to everyone who came along, joined in and helped make the night such a memorable one. We hope you all had as much fun as we did.
