The farm gate sells freshly opened or unopened oysters daily, along with other Tasmanian seafood, wines and gifts. Located 15 minutes from Hobart, Barilla Bay offers a serene setting for your wedding ceremony and reception. Our dedicated and professional team will help make your day truly memorable for you and your loved ones. With magnificent Tasmanian surrounds, we can cater for small weddings of 20 people, or larger ceremonies of 250 people cocktail style. Our Gazebo is ideal for your ceremony, and the beach is only a 2 minute walk away, for those perfect photos. Be it a business meeting, a 60th birthday party, a school reunion, an award night, or an engagement party. Unravel the mystery behind the oyster by joining us on our land based oyster and abalone tour. Public tours run on Thursday and Friday at 11.00 am and Saturday at 2.00pm. Private tours can be booked with a minimum payment of 10 adults
